| The Board examines and licenses qualified audiologists and speech pathologists. The Board regulates the profession, and adopts and enforces standards of ethical practice. The governor appoints the members: two audiologists, two speech-language pathologists, one otolaryngologist, one hearing aid specialist, and one consumer. Members must be a resident in North Dakota for one year. Members must be providing public service, teaching, or research in the field of audiology or speech pathology at least three years prior to appointment. No person may serve more than two successive terms. |
