| This Board shall employ "the most practical means" to control and eradicate diseases in animals. Members must represent the following: one commercial beef; one registered purebred beef cattle; one dairy cattle; one swine; one sheep; one nontraditional livestock; and two bison and two veterinarians. No person may be appointed to more than two seven-year terms. Recommendations for appointment of members may be made to the governor by: North Dakota Stockmen's Association, various registered purebred beef cattle associations, various dairy breed associations for dairy cattle, North Dakota Pork Producers Association, North Dakota Lamb & Wool Producers Association, North Dakota Buffalo Association and North Dakota Veterinary Medical Association. Two recommendations must be submitted for each spot. |
