Hoeven Names Citizens To Serve On State Boards
BISMARCK, N.D. - Governor Hoeven has named several citizens to serve on state boards.
Glenda Larson of Minot has been appointed to a three-year term on the Board of Addiction Counseling Examiners. Larson is a licensed addiction counselor and is the clinical supervisor of addiction counselors at Trinity Health. Marcus Lee of Williston and Bev Aichele of Bismarck have been re-appointed to the board. Lee is a licensed addiction counselor at Mercy Recovery Center; Aichele is a licensed addiction counselor at the Youth Correctional Center in Mandan. The Board is responsible for the proper licensure of addiction counselors who practice in North Dakota.
Jill Mrnak of Bowman has been re-appointed to a three-year term on the Board of Barber Examiners. Mrnak and her husband farm and ranch. The Board is responsible for supervising and regulating the practice of barbers. Duties of the board include registration and licensure of barbers and apprentices, and inspection and regulation of schools and shops.
Kenneth Karls of Bismarck has been re-appointed to a three-year term on the Board of Occupational Therapy. Karls is Executive Director of Cystic Fibrosis Association of North Dakota. The Board licenses occupational therapists in North Dakota.
Roxanne Case of Fargo has been appointed to a four-year term on the Board of Nursing. Case is an administrative assistant with Concordia Cultural Events at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. The Board’s duties include: discipline, complaints, enforcing the Nurse Practitioners Act, and setting qualifications for nurses.
