Hoeven Appoints Citezens To Serve On State Boards

BISMARCK, N.D. - Governor Hoeven recently appointed several citizens to serve on state boards:

Myron Cullen of Bismarck has been appointed to a four-year term on the Board of Athletic Trainers. Cullen is a physical therapist and athletic trainer at St. Alexius Human Performance Center. The Board is responsible for licensing athletic trainers.

Roger Monson of Finley has been appointed to a five-year term on the Banking Board. Monson is president of Citizen State Bank. The Board is an administrative agency managing and controlling state banks and can assess civil penalties and conducts hearing processes.

James Arthaud of Medora has been appointed to a five-year term on the Racing Commission. Arthaud is president of the Missouri Basin Well Services, Inc. The Commission oversees the regulatory functions of live and off-track horse racing and disburses funds from simulcast racing.

Debra Heinle of Williston has been reappointed to a three-year term on the Statewide Independent Living Council. Heinle is a student at Williston State College. The Council works to establish and expand independent living services to meet the needs of people with disabilities in the state.

Darcy Andahl of Bismarck, Cindy Taylor and Jeremy McIntyre of Fargo, Diana Zietz of Dickinson and Dr. Bryce Fifield of Minot have been reappointed to four-year terms on the Council on Developmental Disabilities. Taylor is employed with Noridian Administrative Services; McIntyre is a youth supervisor and climbing wall staff member at the Fargo Moorhead YMCA; Zietz is a realtor at Continental Real Estate; Fifield is executive director of North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities at Minot State University. The Council advocates for policy changes that promote choice, independence, productivity and inclusion for all North Dakotans with developmental disabilities.
