Citizens Step Up To Serve On Boards
BISMARCK, N.D. - Governor Hoeven recently appointed several citizens to serve on state boards:
Dr. Dick Roth of Fargo has been appointed to a seven-year term on the Board of Animal Health. Roth is a veterinarian at Roth Consulting Services. The Board employs the most practical means to control and eradicate diseases in animals.
Michael Ulmer of Bismarck has been reappointed to a five-year term on the Board of Registration for Professional Soil Classifiers. Ulmer is a soil data quality specialist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service. The Board licenses soil classifiers.
Bonnie Bieber of Mott and Ward Fredrickson of Bismarck have been reappointed to three-year terms on the Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice. Bieber is a farm wife and Fredrickson is a pathologist at Pathology Consultants, PC. The Board handles the licensure and discipline of clinical laboratory personnel.
Kenneth Ebeling, Ph.D and John Frappier, of Fargo have been reappointed to four-year terms on the Prison Industries Advisory Committee. Ebeling is the director of facilities automation and system simulation in the Department of Engineering and Management at North Dakota State University; Frappier is president and founder of Acceleration Products, Inc. The Committee oversees the operation of Rough Rider Industries at the prison and advises them on how to better build, market and produce their products.
Alice Olson of Cavalier has been reappointed to a three-year term on the Board of Directors for the International Peace Garden, Inc. Olson is a former state legislator. The Board sets policy and regulations and gives direction to the superintendent of the Peace Garden.
Duanna Gonsorowski of Grand Forks has been reappointed to a three-year term on the Board of Massage. Gonsorowski is a licensed massage therapist and owns Blue Star Therapeutic Massage. The Board regulates massage therapists.
