Hoeven Names Montgomery Chairwoman Of Bank Of North Dakota Board

BISMARCK, N.D. - Governor John Hoeven has named Shirley Montgomery chairwoman of the Bank of North Dakota Advisory Board.
Montgomery has served on the board since 1997, and most recently as vice-chairwoman.
“Shirley has served the Bank of North Dakota Advisory Board with dedication and distinction for more than five years,” Hoeven said. “Her experience in banking and economic development will ensure that the Bank continues to work effectively for the people of North Dakota.”
Montgomery holds a degree from the University of Nebraska and has done graduate studies at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. She has served on numerous civic and professional boards. In addition to the Bank of North Dakota Advisory Board, she currently serves on the North Dakota Department of Commerce Foundation, the United Way and the Cass County Electric Cooperative Board of Directors. Montgomery has been active with economic development, both on a state and local level.
“Shirley brings a great deal of experience to the Bank in her new role as Chairperson of the Bank Advisory Board,” said Eric Hardmeyer, President of the Bank of North Dakota. “She has been involved in Banking for over 25 years, most recently as president of what is now Wells Fargo Bank in Fargo. I look forward to working with Shirley in her capacity as chairwoman of the Advisory Board.
