Hoeven Commends House Education Committee Leadership
BISMARCK, N.D. - Gov. John Hoeven today commended the House Education Committee for its leadership in restoring funding to SB2154, the public schools financing bill. The legislation restores $10 million of the funding for education recommended in the Governor’s budget.
“House Education Committee Chair RaeAnn Kelsch and the committee are moving this year’s education bill in the right direction by restoring funding and supporting our teachers,” Hoeven said. “I appreciate the committee’s vision and Chairwoman Kelsch’s leadership for taking this important step for our children. I call on all House and Senate members to recognize the committee’s hard work and encourage them to support the provisions of the amended bill.”
