Hoeven: President Appoints Laducer To SBA Advisory Council
BISMARCK, N.D. - Gov. John Hoeven today received notice from the White House that President George W. Bush has appointed James Laducer of Laducer & Associates, Inc. in Bismarck to a two-year term as North Dakota’s representative on the National Advisory Council (NAC) of the Small Business Administration (SBA). Laducer has served previously on the council. He was appointed in 1996 and served until April 2002.
Established in October of 1965, the National Advisory Council of the U.S. Small Business Administration is a group of appointed volunteers who partner with the SBA to support its mission: To maintain and strengthen the nation’s economy by aiding, counseling, assisting, and protecting the interests of small businesses and by helping families and businesses recover from natural disasters. The Council consists of a Chair, Vice Chair, 10 regional representatives and 52 state representatives, one from each state, one from Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands, and on from the District of Columbia.
“We’re extremely proud of Jim - proud of his work here in North Dakota, proud of his Native heritage, and proud that the President has seen fit to recognize him with a national position of prominence,” Hoeven said. “His hard work and dedication will be a great asset to the council, as it has been a great asset to North Dakota.”
Laducer said, “As the owner of a strong business that has been built in North Dakota, I believe I can bring a strong perspective from our state to the Council.”
Laducer & Associates, Inc. is an American Indian-owned and operated business dedicated to providing computerized Information Management Services. The company specializes in large-scale information processing.
