Statement Of Governor John Hoeven On The Search For Dru Sjodin
BISMARCK, N.D. - Gov. John Hoeven today issued the following statement in response to the ongoing search for Dru Sjodin:
"The thoughts and prayers of every North Dakotan are with the Sjodins. Mikey and I pray for Dru's safe return to her loving family, and we encourage anyone with information about her to contact the Grand Forks Police Department Hotline.
"North Dakota state agencies continue to provide all and any assistance possible to law enforcement in their search efforts. The North Dakota Highway Patrol, Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Bureau of Criminal Investigation and other agencies have placed their resources at the service of the combined law enforcement task force in Grand Forks. We thank and commend all of the selfless volunteers who are out searching for Dru.
"Our hearts go out to the Sjodins, and we want them to know that we are making every effort within our power to bring Dru safely home."
Dru has blond hair and blue eyes. She stands between 5'5" and 5'7", and she weighs about 130 pounds. The number of the Grand Forks Hotline is 701-780-8213.
