Hoeven Appoints Terri Zimmerman And Darcy Volk To The North Dakota Development Fund
BISMARCK, N.D. - Gov. John Hoeven today announced the appointment of Terri Zimmerman and Darcy Volk to the North Dakota Development Fund, an eight-member board that provides funding to primary-sector businesses.
Zimmerman has served as chief operations officer and chief financial officer for Dakota Technologies, Inc. in Fargo since October 2001, focusing on strategic planning and product commercialization. While chief financial officer and vice president of finance and operations at Great Plains Software, she was instrumental in growing the company from $25 million to $200 million in revenue and led a successful initial and secondary public offering.
Volk is general manager of the Unisys Shared Service Center in Bismarck, managing the overall operations of the center. The Bismarck center handles 1.5 million accounts payable, travel accounting and commission accounting transactions, and customer orders for Unisys locations in 43 countries. She is also a frequent speaker on self-directed work teams and shared service center operations at national conferences.
The Development Fund is part of the North Dakota Department of Commerce Division of Economic Development and Finance and provides flexible financing to businesses to further the state’s economic growth.
