Hoeven Announces USDA Funds For Rural Development
BISMARCK, N.D. - Gov. John Hoeven today announced the United States Department of Agriculture awarded funds totaling $396,700 to Consolidated Telcom in Dickinson.
Consolidated Telcom requested funding through the USDA Rural Economic Development Loan Program. The funds will be used to assist Steffes Corporation, a Dickinson metal manufacturing company, with the purchase of metal fabrication production equipment and to remodel unfinished space into an office area to house their engineering department.
“The USDA funds support our economic development and job creation efforts in North Dakota,” Hoeven said. “Today’s announcement is good news for Consolidated Telcom, Steffes Corporation and the Dickinson community.
