Kingsbury Withdraws Name From Board Of Higher Education Nominations
BISMARCK, N.D. - Gov. John Hoeven today was notified by State Board of Higher Education member Ralph Kingsbury that he has withdrawn his name from consideration for reappointment to another term.
Kingsbury cited the increased time demanded by his new business, Kingsbury Applied Economics, which he launched last fall, as well a time needed to recover from recent surgery. He has served on a number of boards and organizations, and has been a successful businessman, farmer and teacher for more than 30 years.
“Ralph has been a valued member, not only of the State Board of Higher Education, but also of the education community in North Dakota,” Hoeven said. “We will miss his insight, but we wish him well in his new endeavor.”
