BISMARCK, N.D. - Gov. John Hoeven today announced more details regarding Agriculture Secretary Mike Johanns' visit to Fargo Thursday, April 21 to meet with local producers and learn more about agriculture issues that are important to North Dakota's farmers and ranchers.
After a farm tour and meeting with farm groups in the morning, Hoeven and Johanns will hold a public question and answer forum from 1 - 2:30 p.m. The forum will be held in the Festival Concert Hall on the North Dakota State University campus, located on the corner of 12th Avenue North and Bolley Drive. Parking will be available in the T Lot, located across from the Festival Concert Hall along 12th Avenue North.
"This is a unique opportunity for North Dakota's farmers and ranchers to engage in an open dialogue with the Secretary of Agriculture about farm and trade issues that are impacting our state," Hoeven said. "It is important for Secretary Johanns to hear directly from our producers regarding their perspective on policy and the nation's agriculture industry."
