Hoeven To Be In Dickinson Monday To Sign Funding Bill For Murphy Hall, Medora's Chateau De Mores
Governor To Recognize President Lee Vickers For Centers Of Excellence Leadership
BISMARCK, N.D. - Gov. John Hoeven will be in Dickinson on Monday, May 9 to sign SB 2023, which includes funding for Murphy Hall on the campus of Dickinson State University, and for a new interpretive center at Medora’s Chateau de Mores. The signing will take place at 9:30 a.m. in the east foyer of the newly expanded section of Murphy Hall.
Hoeven will also recognize Dickinson State University President Lee Vickers for his leadership role in helping to generate statewide support for the Governor’s Centers of Excellence initiative.
Joining Hoeven, in addition to Vickers, will be Mayor Dennis Johnson, Sens. Rich Wardner, Herb Urlacher and Bill Bowman, and Reps. C.B. Haas, Shirley Meyer, Nancy Johnson, Frank Wald, Dave Drovdal and Keith Kempenich. Board of Higher Education member Pam Kostelecky will also attend the signing.
