Hoeven, Dalrymple To Hold News Conference On New N.D. Trade Office Campaign
BISMARCK, N.D. - Governor John Hoeven and Lt. Governor Jack Dalrymple will hold a news conference at 10:45 a.m. at the Fargo Jet Center on Tuesday, June 28th.
This conference will be held between meetings organized by the North Dakota Trade Office to kick off their “Get Ready to Fly into Export Expansion” campaign, which is designed to introduce the office’s services to exporters in North Dakota. The news conference will follow a 9:00 a.m. meeting of the export service providers supporting increased exporting out of North Dakota, which media are also invited to attend.
Hoeven, who has a background in economic development and finance, will lead a discussion with the financing segment of this group following the press conference. Among this group are international bankers from the private sector, representatives from Exim Bank in Chicago, the Small Business Administration’s International Finance Division, the Bank of North Dakota, representatives from the North Dakota Department of Commerce Economic Development and Finance Division and USDA-Rural Development.
