Gov. Rounds and Gov. Hoeven "replay" friendly wager on football game
PIERRE, S.D. and BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Mike Rounds and Gov. John Hoeven today announced that they have agreed to a second friendly wager regarding the outcome of Saturday’s Great West Football Conference game between South Dakota State University (SDSU) Jackrabbits and the North Dakota State University (NDSU) Bison. The game will be played at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the FargoDome in Fargo, N.D.
If SDSU wins the game, Gov. Hoeven will send a Gift Basket of Dakota Growers Pasta to Gov. Rounds. If NDSU wins the game, Gov. Rounds will send various flavors of our SDSU ice cream to the governor’s residence.
“The fans from both SDSU and NDSU are looking forward to watching a great football game and our fans are predicting another victory for SDSU,” said Rounds.
“We’re all looking forward to a rematch, and do expect it to be an exciting contest between two great teams,” Hoeven said. “Whatever the outcome it’s a good wager and it will be a good game.”
