Hoeven Statement On U.S. Hostage In Iraq Ron Schulz
BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. John Hoeven today issued the following statement on Ronald Schulz, a North Dakota native held hostage in Iraq by insurgents:
"Mikey and I, like all North Dakotans, are deeply saddened and concerned about the abduction and status of Ron Schulz, which the U.S. State Department is unable to confirm at this time. We extend our sympathy to Ron's family and friends during their ordeal, and continue to pray for him and the other hostages still in the custody of terrorists. We have spoken to Ron's family and expressed the support of all North Dakotans for them in these difficult times."
