Hoeven Announces USDA Grant To The Agriculture Products Utilization Commission
BISMARCK, N.D. - Gov. John Hoeven today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has award the North Dakota Commerce Department's Agricultural Products and Utilization Commission (APUC) $150,000. The funding will be used to provide technical assistance in the form of feasibility and marketing studies and business plans for expanding small businesses and emerging private enterprises in North Dakota. The focus is job creation.
"APUC plays an important role in helping us develop value-added agriculture to create more income for our farmers and ranchers, and more jobs for rural North Dakota."
