Hoeven To Announce New BNSF Facilities In Minot And State's Unified Rail Shipping Plan
BISMARCK, N.D. - Gov. John Hoeven will hold a news conference on Thursday, March 9 at 10:45 a.m. at the International Inn, 1505 N. Broadway in Minot, to announce new Burlington Northern Santa Fe rail facilities in Minot and to discuss the state's unified rail freight shipping plan.
Hoeven will be joined by Minot Mayor Curt Zimbelman, Minot Area Development Corp. President Jerry Chavez, MADC Chair Kathy Gaddie, and Burlington Northern Santa Fe Executive Vice President Jeffrey R. Moreland, Assistant Vice President Charles W. Shewmake, and Legislative Counsel Brian Sweeney.
