Dalrymple, Lt. Governors To Participate In U. Mary Symposium On Role Of The Office
BISMARCK, N.D. - Lt. Gov. Jack Dalrymple and five former lieutenant governors will participate in a symposium to discuss the role of the office in state government at Heskett Hall located in the Clairmont Center at the University of Mary, America's Leadership University, in Bismarck on January 25 at 11 a.m.
The participants will discuss the role of the Lieutenant Governor in state government, the history of North Dakota's lieutenant governor role and best practices in the structure of state executive branches.
"Depending on background and skills, the lieutenant governor is in a unique position to contribute to the progress of our state," Dalrymple said. "I look forward to sharing experiences and ideas from those who've had the honor to serve in this office before me."
In addition to Dalrymple, also participating will be former Lt. Gov. Rosemarie Myrdal; Lt. Gov. Lloyd Omdahl; Lt. Gov. Ernest Sands; Lt. Gov. Wayne Sanstead; and Lt. Gov. Richard Larsen.
