Hoeven Declares Friday, April 20 A Day Of Mourning To Commemorate Virginia Tech Tragedy

BISMARCK, N.D. - In unity with the Commonwealth of Virginia and states across the nation, Gov. John Hoeven has declared Friday, April 20, 2007, as a Day of Mourning to honor the 32 people killed on the Virginia Tech campus this week.
Hoeven’s proclamation asks that North Dakotans stand with the citizens of Virginia by observing a moment of silence at 11 a.m. Central Daylight Savings Time, 12 noon Eastern Daylight Savings Time in honor of the victims who perished on that tragic day.
