Hoeven Announces Changes To Senior Staff
BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. John Hoeven today announced several changes to his senior staff.
Ron Rauschenberger, who has served as a senior advisor since 2001, and deputy chief of staff since 2004, will now serve as chief of staff. He takes the place of Bill Goetz, who has accepted the position of chancellor of the North Dakota Higher Education System. Rauschenberger will continue to serve as the Governor’s senior policy advisor on economic development, commerce, finance, energy development and other policy areas. He will also serve as liaison on federal policy and relations.
Lance Gaebe, who has served as a senior advisor to the Governor since 2001, will now serve as deputy chief of staff. Gaebe will continue to advise on natural resource management, agriculture, renewable energy, trade, regional governors’ associations and other policy areas.
Tami Wahl will join senior staff on July 1, 2007, as an advisor on health and human services. She formerly worked as a portfolio manager for APT, Inc., where she provided executive, legislative and technology management services to health-based non-profit organizations and constituencies, including the North Dakota Association of Homecare and the North Dakota Association of Nurse Anesthetists. She has also been employed by St. Alexius Medical Center and the Easter Seal Society/Good Will of North Dakota.
“We thank Bill Goetz for his service, and extend our best wishes to him in his new endeavor,” Hoeven said. “Ron and Lance have been key members of our team. In their new capacities, they bring both experience and dedication to serving the people of North Dakota. We also welcome Tami to our team. She brings a strong background and good experience to her new work on behalf of the citizens of North Dakota.”
