Hoeven To Evaluate Storm Damage In Southeast ND
BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. John Hoeven will tour rural Cass County Tuesday to evaluate damages to homes, farms and power lines in the wake of a storm that affected Cass, Ransom, Sargent, and Steele counties. Rain, hail and winds, in excess of 100 miles an hour in some places, resulted in damaged crops, power outages, downed trees and broken windows.
The Governor will depart by car from the Governor's Inn in Casselton at 1:30 p.m. and travel to the Paul and Michael Olson farm, where crops were damaged by the storm.
