Hoeven To Meet With Corps Officials, Mississippi River Commission Monday At Fort Stevenson State Park
BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. John Hoeven will meet with Army Corps of Engineers officials and members of the Mississippi River Commission on Monday, August 13, 2007, at Fort Stevenson State Park to emphasize the need for drought conservation in the Missouri River Basin. The group will hold a media availability at 2:30 p.m. on the west side of the park near the boat ramp.
DIRECTIONS: Fort Stevenson State Park is located at 1252A 41st Ave. NW in Garrison. To reach the boat ramp, take the first right past the gate after entering the park and follow signs. In the event of inclement weather, the availability will be held at the lodge on the east side of the park.
