Hoeven To Announce PLOTS Milestone
BISMARCK, N.D. – With the first of this year’s major hunting seasons about to open, Gov. John Hoeven and state Game and Fish Department Director Terry Steinwand will unveil the 2007 Private Land Open to Sportsmen (PLOTS) Guide, which features a milestone in acres of private land open to hunters.
Governor Hoeven will recognize this achievement by Game and Fish staff and cooperating private landowners at a special celebration on Tuesday, August 28. Details are:
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Location: PLOTS tract north of Sterling, ND
Directions: From intersection of I-94 and ND Highway 14 (exit 182) – 3 miles north on highway 14 and then .5 miles east
Remarks by: Gov. Hoeven, Game and Fish Director Terry Steinwand, Game and Fish staff, partner agencies and cooperating landowners who are helping to expand public access to hunting land
