First Lady Co-Hosting 2008 Women's Health Summit
BISMARCK, N.D. - First Lady Mikey L. Hoeven and North Dakotans Partnering for Women’s Health are hosting the fourth annual First Lady’s Women’s Health Summit on May 5 at the Ramada Plaza Suites in Fargo.
“This Summit is an opportunity to provide the women in our state with the most current information regarding women’s health issues,” said Hoeven. “It is our hope that participants will walk away with tangible, educational tools to implement into their lives in the areas of fitness, nutrition, life balance and much more.”
Featured keynote speakers for the Summit will be Dr. Deborah Kern who will present “Finding Calm Amidst Chaos – Creating a Sustainable Life.” In addition, Hoeven will share her faith journey entitled “We’re Never Alone” and Dr. Cathy Breedon will present “Hot Topics in Nutrition.” The Summit will also feature four different breakout sessions on various topics.
The First Lady is working with North Dakotans Partnering for Women’s Health to make women’s health issues a priority in North Dakota.
