Hoeven Congratulates Marvin Windows On Expansion In Grafton

BISMARCK, N.D. - Gov. John Hoeven today congratulated officials of Marvin Windows for its announced 200,000 square foot, $10 million expansion in Grafton. The company said Wednesday it is planning for future growth by adding to its existing 256,000 square foot facility and adding at least 50 employees over the next five years in Grafton. The project is expected to be completed by 2009.

"It is a measure of the strength of this forward-looking company that Marvin Windows is planning for long-term growth in a competitive industry," Hoeven said. "Real innovation, combined with the strong state business climate we've worked to create, not only attracts, but encourages the expansion of companies like Marvin Windows. Our congratulations to the entire Marvin team for their genuine entrepreneurship, and best wishes for their continued success."

North Dakota is one of only three states to expand its manufacturing sector since 2000, according to Hoeven.
