North Dakotans Partnering For Women's Health
Receives Grant From Dakota Medical Foundation
BISMARCK, N.D. - North Dakotans Partnering for Women's Health has received a $2,000 grant from the Dakota Medical Foundation to help support the 2009 First Lady's Women's Health Summit, which will be held May 4 at the Ramada Plaza Suites in Fargo.
The summit's mission is to educate, motivate and rejuvenate North Dakota women who share a common goal of attaining and maintaining good health for themselves and others.
The Dakota Medical Foundation, located in Fargo, focuses its efforts on improving health and access to medical and dental care in the region, with a special emphasis on children. Since 1996, the Foundation has provided more than $32 million to 299 non-profit organizations across the region. For more information about the Foundation, visit www.dakmed.org.
